182% Revenue Increase for Ticketing Agency
The Situation
Bilete.ro is one of Romania’s leading ticket retailers, selling tickets for some of the country’s most in-demand events — from major music festivals and top-flight football matches to tennis tournaments, theater performances, and live entertainment.
Despite having a strong brand, a broad event catalog, and clear demand from customers, their organic search visibility was underperforming. Many high-value event pages were ranking below expectations, and important commercial searches were being captured by competitors instead.
The Mission
Bilete.ro operated in a highly competitive search environment where rankings could shift quickly around popular events. Festival searches, sports fixtures, and ticket-related keywords often had strong competition, time-sensitive demand, and limited windows for conversion.
Our goal was to turn organic search into a stronger revenue channel for Bilete.ro.
We focused on improving rankings for high-intent event searches, increasing organic traffic to key ticketing pages, and helping the brand capture more demand from people actively searching for festivals, football matches, and live events across Romania.
Our Approach
We developed and executed an SEO strategy focused on the areas most likely to move rankings, traffic, and revenue.
This included improving on-page optimization for priority event categories, resolving technical SEO issues that limited discoverability, strengthening internal relevance signals, and supporting key pages with targeted authority-building through link acquisition.
The strategy combined technical improvements, content and metadata refinement, and off-page SEO to help Bilete.ro become more visible for the searches that mattered most.
The Outcome
The results were significant across both visibility and business performance.
For festival-related searches, Bilete.ro moved from fluctuating positions around #9–#10 to consistent top 5 rankings, helping organic traffic increase from 22,065 to 41,454 visits — an 88% increase.
For domestic football league match searches, performance improved even more dramatically. Rankings moved from around position #47, buried on the fifth page of Google, to first-page visibility. Organic visits increased from 5,312 to 95,400, representing a 1,696% increase.
Most importantly, this growth translated into revenue. Organic-driven revenue increased from €55,573 to €156,644, a 182% increase.
